I finished my pirate outfit, ostensibly it's for burning man, but you never know when you may need to go out plundering. Right?
The blouse I actually followed a pattern! Not my strongest suit!

The corset/top/thingy is put together from a cheap hook and eye tank top and a little boys halloween shirt.( yes it does glow in the dark!)

and the skirt i just kinda made up with some fabric and scraps  i had already

 and the whole thing.

My pops made the necklace- hand carved bone- and of course no pirate outfit could be complete with out some 1970's motocross boots. (because i'm a geek for boots)
Thanks for looking, this is my first completed project post.

LOL!!  My mom is a work at home mom.  She's a seamstress and one of her "specialties" is pirate costumes.  This is a refreshing version of what I'm used to seeing.

It's so cute!  You did a wonderful job!  Wink

Thanks mateys!
I just moved from new orleans, and while i think i could get away with wearingthis outfit there, i don't think this small town of 800 is quite the place. But then you never know when the situation might arise.
