Monsters are fun to paint because there are no limits to what they can look like. That being said, I keep getting stumped when it comes to painting a new creature. It's almost as if there are TOO many possibilities. This painting has three of my creations in it, but I'm always looking for new ideas!

That's really nifty :-) It brings to mind a combination of "Where the Wild Things Are" and "Calvin & Hobbes". The shading is superb and the colors just bright enough, but not overwhelming.
