This was a super easy recon. I bought a cute shirt at Wal-Mart for $3 (on clearance, of course! Marked down from $12!! Cheesy), wore it once, and decided I didn't like the hood on it...plus, I wanted to wear it to work, and hoodie-style anything isn't exactly "business appropriate" attire.

Therefore, I decided the hood had to go. Originally, I was going to get rid of the hood altogether and sew a whole new hem onto the neck of the shirt, but realized that with the way the hood was attached, there was already bias tape connecting the shirt to the hood, making a nice looking edge. All I did was cut the hood off as close to the bias tape I could get, then when it was off, I just trimmed off any jagged edges, and voila! No wasted material! Cheesy
For the bandana, all I did was put the hood on like normal, then tie the ends under my hair.

It was super easy, and your local Wal-Mart probably has some of these same shirts on clearance, so you can probably do it too! Wink
