I recently helped plan a Ladies Tea where we were supposed to dress the part in vintage apparel...and there would be a hat contest.  

So...I got to thinking...googled some ideas I had, and this is what I made.

And my whole outfit...

The ruffle skirt I posted about here


and the sash I made for my girls' Easter dress...I did not make the sweater.  Sorry Sad

What do you think?  Everyone loved it as did I!!  More photos can be found on my blog.

It is crazy easy to make!!  You should try it!
