The result of more experiments with acrylic paint for jewelry! I call this the Outpour necklace. The dry paint was varnished, then glued onto black fabric, cut out, and sealed at the edges by brushing modpodge to prevent fraying. I used wooden beads and a gold silk cord finished with leather crimps to tie it all together.

Will definitely be coming up with more of these, might even add some feathers to give it more of a boho look!

Thanks for looking!

You've made that technique your own and each piece gets better and better.

Thank you for the compliment! I feel like I'm only just getting into the full swing of things as far as learning to work with paint, and I hope to really be able to make them good enough to sell. Your encouragement will definitely push me that much further!

Really cool, love the earthly colours. And feathers would definitely brighten things up

That's such a cool technique that you used! The necklace looks gorgeous. Feathers would be a great addition

Thank you! It's so hard to find nice feathers round hobby stores here though, I'd have to order them online. I've made more pieces since, and will post them up soon! A website showcasing all the pieces is also in the pipeline, along with an etsy store (finally)! Exciting month ahead

This is very, very cool.  It reminds me of the high fashion necklaces that seem to be showing up.  Definitely the center piece of any outfit.
