It has been a long time since I've logged in! I may have to join this swap because I love movies and tiny things are good!

Just sent my info, but since everyone else is sharing...

1. Pan's Labyrinth
2. Amelie
3. Princess Mononoke
4. Beauty and the Beast (1991 Disney version)
5. Moulin Rouge/Chicago (either is fine with me)

This swap sounds like so much fun, now I'm off to fill my wist with movie related goodness.

Finally got my questionnaire sent off, I HATE narrowing it down to just 5!  I cheated and put in alternates...     <.<     >.>  Shhh, don't tell, I don't want to get busted!  ~.^

My movies were completely unoriginal:
1. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
2. Spaceballs
3. Labyrinth
4. The Great Mouse Detective
5. Princess Bride

(If any of these are unfindable or unsuitable, I submit Clue, Shaun of the Dead, National Treasure, and Joe's Apartment as substitutions)

I think my general taste in movies is sadly apparent... I like to laugh, mostly.  Nothing deep or meaningful here!  I've probably watched Spaceballs a hundred times, it's one of the few movies I can just watch on a continuous loop.  I have a weakness for puns.  "What's the matter, Colonel Sanders?  CHICKEN?"  *snicker*

We have very similar taste in movies.  I get more joy out of something that I can watch over and over rather than something that is mindblowingly beautiful and intellectual.  So far today I've watched Robin Hood:Men In Tights, Blazing Saddles, and Monty Python.

"We're men, we're men in tights - TIGHT tights!"  Cheesy

Oooh, two more I could have put down.  Also History of the World Part 1.   So many good, silly movies out there!

No school this summer so I am doing THIS swap!!!  I'm really excited to get partnered and get started!  Interested to see if anyone else shares my taste in movies or if we will even be paired with someone who has similar taste?  Here are a couple from my list (can't give them all away):

-Chocolat
-An American In Paris
-An Education

I am pretty sure I want to be a part of this swap again. What I'm not sure is if I want to switch up my movies that much. So many movie options though!! Choices, choices, choices. . .  Smiley

I won't be partnering people based on similar tastes. With the first round, my idea was to partner up people with slightly varied tastes so we could be exposed to something we might not normally watch! Some people have expressed certain preferences such as not liking horror films, and I will be wary of that. I'm not a horror movie film myself, and there's no way I'd be able to make it through five!!

As a general note to everyone, please do not worry if your movie choices are OK or not for this swap. Whatever you like is fine! It's good to get folks with a variety of tastes.

I like this idea.....  I will have to hope I'm not too busy sometime while sign ups are still open.
