Embroidery Hoopla Rnd 5 - Color Spectrum Gallery!! (Send 6/6/11)

I received THE MOST AWESOME HOOP in the UNIVERSE from Anya Kase!  Seriously, I opened the package, my jaw dropped (for real) and I couldn't even breathe for a full minute.  Trying to take it all in.  It's so perfect.....



The color, the theme, the stitching, the texture.... I love. it. all.





SO FREAKIN GORGEOUS!!!!!  The stiches are amazing.  Some are unbelievably tiny... I'm talking maybe 2mm in length.  Crazy good.

Thank you so much, anya, for this amazing hoop!  I appreciate all the time, thought, and talent you put into my piece.  THANK YOU!! 
I'm still working on your piece, and I hope it's half as good as the one you sent me.... talk about swap anxiety! 

PS.... if you have better photos, please post them.  My camera seriously sucks at trying to capture how awesome this hoop is!

Ok, I really think all the hoops in the gallery are fantastic but OH MAH GAH. Anya, that is just breathtaking. Even my fiance stopped mis sentence when the picture came up! Talk about inspiring!

I don't mean to gloat, but I loooove my new hoop! Bubblegum_phoenix did a bang-up job on this puppy. I can understand why her mom wanted to keep it for herself. It reminds me of what our yard up north looks like before we cut the grass.


Here is a somewhat closer shot of the grassy bit. I like the look of all the random stitches.


We also decided to swap some additional items. I have here a wonderful tote featuring a glacier in New Zealand, a bag of delicious squashed possums(chocolate and coconut clusters), and an egg.I was afraid something inside the egg had broken because all I heard were pieces mingling around inside. I carefully opened it up to reveal a bounty of shells! I had mentioned in a message that I wish she could send me the ocean and she kind of did   



I can't wait until my stuff arrives to you. Tell those earthquakes to knock it off and stay safe on your side of the island!
