So many wonderful hoops received since I last checked in! You ladies are amazing.  I love the pink pinup girl! The little owl and turtle are adorable.  The flowers are beautiful and that boob-a-licious owl is amazing.  The detail is magnificent.  I too like the fan stitch you did... looks a bit like lace.  Excellent work!!!!

thanks for the props on my hooty hoo hoop, y'all!  Smiley i'm sure that fan stitch has a real name but i'm not sure what it is.... i kinda made it up but it came out too cool for me to believe someone else hasn't done it before and given it some fancy name. but basically all it is is a series of short segments of blanket stitch. i lined up what would be the horizontal along the edges of the feathers and just tried to aim for all the verticals to come together at a common point. i did the same thing around the eyes. was real pleased with how it came out!  Cheesy

I received an amazing hoop from mezcraft last night!
She took my love of the Tree of Life and added everything I love to it!!!
An octopus, pterodactly, stegosaurus, gnome, ankh, Eye of Ra, turtle, seahorse and yarn! There might be more I haven't seen too, haha.
I didn't see the yarn and needles until I took the photo of it.

What tiny little stitches she used! And I love how personal it is - amazing!

What a unique design, I love the details on all of it, but especially the stego and turtle.  Beautiful shading

HOLY COW!  Shocked That is so awesome it makes me feel like I should just throw down my hoop now and give up embroidery for life - cuz I'll never achieve that level of perfection!
