This crocheted round rug was made from an old white T-shirt that I made into yarn.

It was then dyed in shades of blue to mimick the earths picture from space.  I dyed another old white shirt with shades of green to make the land/grassy areas of the earth.  I cut the green "yarn" into short pieces and pulled it through the open areas of the rug to make a shag look.

I then put in a red HEART over Michigan where my HOME is with "yarn" made from a recycled red T-shirt!
