It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezes are cool.

Being unemloyed, I couldn't afford much of a birthday present for my dad so instead he asked me to make him a remote control holder that can hang off one of bars in his bedroom (he's disabled and has those life bars to help him get out of bed).

He gave me specific measurements and what he wanted and I made it adjustable should he want to change the location and need it to hang lower. Here's the finished product.

I'm a fat, crafty chick. LOUD AND PROUD!

Check out my bi-weekly podcast where two twenty something heterosexual women (who act like fifty something gay men) discuss geek culture, pop culture and all things Disney, Doctor Who and theater.

Every time your dad's remote is just where it should be he'll think of you. Awesome.

This is great!  I want one for my house, but I would have to convince the rest of the household (Hubby and 3-year-old) to actually use it.  Hubby usually walks around with the remote in his Carhartt's Pants' Pocket, and I can't find it...
