My mother has HUGE flower gardens and she likes to take me on garden tours, but
there's so many different flowers now, she's forgetting the names. So for Mother's
Day, I made her plant markers that will last. She's tried many different things that
didn't work. These are made from mini blinds, and a bed spring that we cut up.
The labels are vinyl labels made using a Brother PC label printer.
...This is a bigger project than I thought. Since I couldn't remember all the plants she
has, I gave her these and so I'll make more each time I visit. Oh, and she really liked them

What a great idea!  I love the recycling aspect of it, too!

These look wonderful -- I never would have guessed they were made from mini blinds!  Great job!

Great job! They are wonderful.  You wouldn't hardly know they were recycled either.  They look so professionally done.

Thanks - I have tried permanent marker, but ironically, it's only temporary. There's still MANY more to make...and there's always blinds to be found! Have an awesome day Smiley
