If I take an entire packet of biscuits in the car I'll eat them all! But, if I split it into little portions I'll not be the size of a house by the time the holiday starts Smiley
But I also don't want to be sewing myself into a migraine whilst trying to pack too.

So the super simple snack bag was born.
Plastic lined (for easy wipe clean) and with a window to remind me of the goodies within!

I used some left over clear plastic from a table cloth protector.

Inevitably a full tutorial is on my bloggy blog blog http://littleblackteapot.blogspot.com

How super duper cute!  I wish I only knew how to sew and i'd make one for me and my son, but sadly, the skills are just not there...   Cry

Thanks! Don't be put off. There are oodles of tutorials and videos etc on the webs to help you learn to sew or increase your skills. Hand sewing takes a while but you CAN do it. Even sewing on a button is satisfying and you'll feel amazing!  Cool

I like this idea because the pattern will help you find the snack , no more  of that "i dont see it" and handing me the bag while i'm trying to drive.

Great idea using bias tape!  I've made a few snack bags lined with vinyl and didn't like the bulk when I turned them.  Never thought about bias tape.  Although bias tape usually isn't very cooperative for me. lol.
