Where the HELL is my chiffon?

This is a costume I made for the dance studio where I work.  We have princess parties for the little ones and the adults running the party dress as the various Disney princesses.  The previous dress was a horrible store bought dress, so the recipient was VERY happy to get this one! The satin used was really difficult to get a good picture, so bear with me  Smiley

Detail shot: I hand sewed sequins to the front of the bodice and the shoulder...thingy.  Yes, that's a technical term... This one is also closest to the real color.

Thanks for looking, let me know what you think!

Beautiful! Did you use a pattern, or just wing it?

Thanks! I used McCalls 5731, but made lots of changes (no sleeves, made the skirt 4 panels instead of 6, taking out some of the 6+ inches of ease built into the pattern)

This is beautiful! Is there any particular reason you chose to omit the scallops of her dress? Maybe for ease of dancing?

Message me if you're interested in buying custom costumes.
