A little 2 sided keyring I made for  Potter themed swap - Alohomora on one side and Colloportus on the other, allowing you to use your keys to unlock doors, and then lock them again.... I thought my idea was better than my execution, unfortunately, so maybe if i try this again I will do it differently.
I used glittery aida and metallic thread to give a sparkly magic-y look, but neither was very easy to work with. the glitter in the aida was really rough on hands, so not pleasent to hold while sewing. And the metallic thread... well... I think we all know about metallic thread...

the needlework is then backed onto a few layers of translucent silver ribbon, with a satin ribbon slipped between the layers to attach the keyring to
