I saw this effect on a show from Utilisima (a latinamerican crafts-or-kind-of channel)

We Need:

-Paint of your choise
-Surface of choise (can be almost anything...on the show, they decorate a flower vase, so pick your thing)
-And some music or show to watch while you work...jeje (i was watching House MD, 6 season Cheesy)

Ok, so...First of all, obviously, you have to wash the eggshell...take off the thin skin on the inside...to do that, you put them under water like 10 minutes, and start to pull away that skin...and when you finish, let the eggshells get dry...im sorry i dont haver pics of that...i totally forgot....

Now...clean your surface, and put some glue on it...then crack the eggshell and push it to crack it more on the glued surface....

When you're done, it has to look like this...if is not, dont worry...this is art, and you can make it the way you want Cheesy

Then, is the fun part.....haha, what am i saying..this is all fun!!! jeje......Let's Paint!!!!!

Try to cover all the little corners...

The last step is a second paint, but this time...its like water with a drop of pain....because this is for the background, to make it darker, and make some depht effect..
This watery paint is in ALL the surfacer and eggshells, but try to put some more on the cracks...then youll have that darker effect....Also if you want the background on other color, you paint the surface before to start pasting the eggshells (you can paint this ones before put them on the glue)
Here's mine...my camera is not that nice with my crafts, but you can see the cool effect we get!!

Use your imagination..this depends of what you want, or need...Make it and show me..i would love to see your work!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Love this project. I love the way it looks. I've got to try this out esp. since it uses things I have already. (Need to get some other things out of the way first) Thank you so much for posting this!
