I have an idea to write a quote on some dark fabric with a fabric paint pen. I usually just freezer paper transfer stuff but that would be hard with the font I want to try and do (a more handwriting look). Anyone have any suggestions for how to lay out the writing on the fabric so I don't have to try and freehand it? (I have bad handwriting so I don't want it to look like my own writing! I want it to look nice!)

The fabric I'm using is dark like almost black. I do have a light box but don't know if I'll be able to see the writing through the fabric.

Thoughts? Help!

Thanks everyone!

Could you use a tracing paper technique with tailors chalk?
