My lil boy will be 1 next month and I'm wracking my brain trying to come up with a good first birthday theme. I know with it being his first birthday it's more for me and my husband but I'd like to have some sort of theme for sake of decor and invitations. I'm wanting to come up with something that there won't be a chance he will want duplicated as he gets older (dinosaurs, cars, rockstar, etc.).

I had an idea to do "Damon's Adventure to ONEderland", but I had a MadHatter's Tea Party theme for my baby shower with him and wasn't sure about reusing the theme and it possibly being too girly.

Other ideas I've had have been to do a theme around a book but he doesn't have any real favorites yet. So I don't know if I should just pick a new one and have all the guests sign in it??

I saw someone posted about having a gnome party and I thought that was cute as well... Its hard for me to say that he's very in to anything at this age, although he does enjoy bubbles, balloons, his toy cars, banging on anything/music, and his Sophie giraffe... I'm also kind of wanting to avoid characters.

I'd love to hear any ideas you all have for his 1st birthday!
