I'm really glad to hear you like your box. It was a blast to put together. The Soulless series has quickly become one of my favorites. I just couldn't resist sending it when you mentioned it was on your list of books to read.

I received from p.kok today!  I was thoroughly spoiled

This is a picture of the lovely fabric p.kok designed for me and is on it's way from Spoonflower:



A gorgeous crochet hook roll:



A sweet pincushion with even sweeter pins (p.kok they are totally useable! in fact your parcel arrived while I was in the middle of pinning a quilt and I put them right to use after the photo...):



My favourite, a vintage piece of fabric, from Egypt, that p.kok's grandfather brought back from there.  I will have to think of a VERY special project for this:



The black fabric here is a vintage piece from p.kok's grandmother's stash, and the green is one she picked up for me in Berlin!:



Some clay buttons I can't wait to use, made by her boyfriend's sister, and a collection of lucky pennies:



And some chocolate

I received from zoby yesterday.

and here it is.  i must say ... she fulfilled the meter of fabric twice!

green-rick rack and ribbon

sharp- seam ripper. larger than usual. maybe i will hold on to it for more than an hour or so.

something letter M- monochrome! i  have been looking at this fabric for a few weeks already.  now what to do with it?
something cozy- flannel. hockey themed. excellent

something lucky- elephant pincushion (if i can get it back from my steroid cat  )
and because she had to send late she tossed in another half meter and called it senders choice!  lucky me.  i love this one.  and think it will become the basis of my canada day bag.

That pattern drove me CRAZY...just so anyone who is looking to make it knows. It's really not that complicated but the numbered instructions go a little out of order.

Let me tell you how incredibly spoiled I've been by A2K!  Seriously, I can not get over it!  We agreed to do all ten categories, but she way surpassed even that! I love every last thing she sent. 

Something vintage- a purse using vintage buttons and houndstooth.  It's almost an exact replica from one on my wist/pinterest!


Something green- paper piecing hexagons and doll clothes patterns.  Two of my most favorite things are hexies and Blythe dolls.


Something tiny- vintage thimble in an adorable pouch


Something local- A birch and snow dyed fabric (by ptarmic wumpus) pincushion.  How creative and original is this?!  (Also, I want to research snow dyed fabric.  That sounds really cool!)


Something cozy- A "Florida" quilt made from vintage sheets (At least, that's what I think...correct me if I'm wrong, A2K!)  I think this may be my favorite.  Although, I do love the purse. A lot!


Something bumpy- A bobbin holder!  Sooooo excited about this!  I've wanted one since I first saw Onegroovyday's a few years ago.


Something lucky-  A "horseshoe" filled with embroidery floss!  I love A2K's creative interpretation of this one!




Something sharp- Quilting pins and embroidery needles in an altered Altoids tins.


Letter "M"- Fabric Marmalade with hexagon compote. HA!  The fabric bits will be perfect for hexies and Blythe clothes.




Sender's choice- Two awesome books and lots of fabric.
