And... finished!  Had a bit of a hard time with one of the edibles today; I tried a new technique for it and the vital piece of equipment broke halfway through the time-sensitive process so I just had to wing it.  It worked out, though!  Anyway, I just took photos and will be sending tomorrow.

Yay! I got a replacement piece today for the last item that I was having trouble on and it worked out perfectly! Woohoo! Now all I have left to do is write a note, take some pictures in the morning, stick it all in the box and send it on it's merry way. This swap is seriously awesome.

On the patronus front, I'm not sure what I would be. I would want it to be something fun and cute like a flying squirrel but I just don't have that much energy.  Wink Maybe a hawk since I try to analyze things before I dig in and I like to coast instead of fighting against the wind. Maybe I'm just dreaming. I'd probably be something like a groundhog.  Roll Eyes

Anywho, I'd better get back to finishing instead of playing around on this awesome site!

I know I've already posted but I just needed to get this off of my chest...I'm having a really hard time letting one of the items I made go. It's beyond normal the attachment I've developed to it in such a short time. But at least I know it'll go to someone who appreciates it.

I know I finished, but it doesn't feel like I finished. I feel more like "But couldn't I also make this and this and this...?"
But I'm packing it up now, and it'll be at the post office this afternoon.

Isn't that always the way with HP swaps?  Wink

Can I be a goatopus? They do have the same pupil shapes.

I snorted when I read this.  And I'm both fascinated and terrified to know what a goatopus looks like...
