Cheesy A Zipper on a Matchbox, who would have thought? Well when a crafter like me is mixed with a matchbox challenge, a broken but fascinating zipper and a swapp-ie who is interested in steam punk and Victorian style, you will get something like this! My swapp-ie Samantha_McKay has informed me that she did receive the box! She also said she's been reallllly busy and hasn't gotten the time to post pictures in the Gallery here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=377824.0. So without further ado here is the zippered up Matchbox!

By the way, the key pendant is hand steam-punk'ified! here is an up-close shot.

So by now I bet your thinking, how did she get that zipper to stay on the box? Well to put it simply, I sewed/glued it on... like so... very punkish no?

And now I can just GUESS your thinking, well with that chunky zipper how does the box even close? Well the outside of the box, as you can see, is like an envelope. So the best way to close it, is to snap it closed!

Well now I shall show you the ACTUAL drawer!

In-nerds all packed up!

Out-turds laying out all over/goodies!

Oh, And I made the "Stargate Portal"! Same with the mini paper stars!

And here are some further details!

Hope you enjoyed, And most of all I hope my partner loves it!

Very cool! I love the way you did the stitching on the outside. And you filled it with such awesome whimsies. Great job Smiley.
