What can you do with a flea market furniture find? Alter it completely, refurbish it, redesign it?

Depends on the find.

The simplest thing to do with it is repaint/decorate it.

Then it could be adapted, e.g. a crate could become a wall shelf, a wooden box becomes a padded seat, a table turns into a desk, a desk turns into a children's play cooker, e.t.c.

Then the most complex would be to dismantle it and use the parts to make something completely different, e.g. a pallet (or several) and a mattress into a sofa.

But it all depends on what you've got and what you need.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Exactly! This is why I offered it as a challenge suggestion. Because the possibilities are endless Smiley
