What inspired me to start needlework

I found this owl on the interwebs and I loved the groovy design so I did a smaller piece just to test the waters then worked on this.

This owl is so cute - love the flowers and his WIDE eyes! Your stitches are pretty - hard to believe you are a beginner!!

Trying to find a hoop or frame that will fit him Im going to glue moss and twigs to the frame to make it more natural.
