Real Men Carry A Craft Bag!

In honor of this holiest of days I finally get to share my Luke Skywalker "portrait". It is done in the Fairey/Obama poster style and did originally include the words "A New Hope" at the bottom. I have never really done a portrait (unless you count a Bender from Futurama), or at least not of a real human being. There is one or two I really want to do so I thought I should try this first! I ended up leaving the words off because I decided I was just too happy with the picture that I didn't want it to have words.

I had a lot of fun with this piece and although I swore off Star Wars pieces a long time ago, I think it's safe to say I am going to get into them a bit more (I hope to have my Vader sampler up soon). Any advice or critique, especially on portrait work, is always welcome!

I love this piece.  I need to get the pattern from you I think.

That is if you aren't afraid I'll do it better.  Tongue
