If Buttons Grew on Trees

This is a painting that I did as a thank you gift for the Givers and needers swap.  My partner just received, so I can post it now.  The colors are a little washed out here in the picture, but it's the only pic I have.  The buttons are hand sewn onto the canvas, which I've never done before.  Thanks for looking.

Great job! I love all the button trees I see around here. I keep trying to make one for myself, but the tree trunk never looks right.
