That is flattering for sure!  I bet you'll get the hang of it quickly.  It is hard at first becasue the faster one sews, the easier it is to keep things even.  Some folks say they all ways have a glass of wine before they machine quilt LOL.  It relaxes them enough to just jump in and go.  I was an OK machine quilter, but I decided to make myself a better one.  What I did was I made "sandwiches" of fabric no one wanted and messed up bats that my quilt guild was giving me.  I made 12 or 20 of those all at once.  I tried to not waste too much time cutting so I made them all sizes, just matching fabrics by size not look.  Then in one day, I would quilt as many as I could.  I would practice all kinds of different shapes and things.  I also tried doing at least one a day, till I had a stack.  Then I would bind them some how (Mostly just rolling over the edges and sewing them down.  Or binding and zigzagging that down.) and give them to the local animal shelters.  They all ways need bedding.  No one cares what they look like, and you can still feel like your doing something good.  I made approx. 20 pet bedding units a month for about a year and 1/2 and now I'm a LOT more confident with my stitching Grin
