Here is a fun project and my interpretation of it...first the site that the pattern comes from:

http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/crochet-bag.html

And my own creation:

Details:
I went two rows beyond what the pattern called for...so it turned out quite a bit larger on the base(and all around).
Therefore, I decreased the number of stitches on the way up the side then added loop and openings for the loop to go thru...the loop becomes the handle for my version of a pretty scrap-destash bag!  Smiley

Nice project bag! (and your GD's look good in it  Wink, hope you receive mine soon as well!)
I'm putting this in my wish list now. Not on my to do list, because I'm too busy making squares...I'm hooked too now!  Cheesy

I like your loop and openings way of closing it.  That would make it easy to hang up on a hook to toss in GDs as you make them and to hang it up for storage. (I like those GDs you have in there modeling, too!)

Thank you so much for the kind comments... Cheesy
I did most of the crocheting while watching the Royal Wedding on Friday....up at 2:30am...and then til 11 am.  I wasn't paying close attention to how many rows I'd gone through when I noticed that I was two rows over... Roll Eyes
I DiD get IdlersDesigns grannies daughters today in the mail...and the ones being modeled were the chosen pinks/greens for a certain project...some from IdlersDesign will be added in to make a pretty afghan! =]

The bag looks great! Of course it does, you're a master crocheter... Smiley
I may just have to make one of these for myself.
