I own a shop in Glasgow, Scotland where we teach crafty stuff and we were challenged a couple of months ago to make the Royal Wedding Dress. On the day of the wedding..

*Barney Stinson voice* - "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED"

We got the first glimpse of the dress at 11am along with the rest of the world, my glamorous sewing guru put the finishing touches on the dress just after 6pm. She used six metres of Duchess Satin and 2m of lace.

Whaddya think?

That's her in the photographs - she's only 25! I kind of hate her a little bit Wink

OH. MY. GOODNESS!!!  That is so excellent!  She should be super proud of herself, and you should be pumped at how it all turned out.  That is so amazing!  And so fun.   Cheesy

I am trying to turn all of my non crafty friends and relatives into crafters. It's like a cult. I want everyone to become addicted to my obsessions!

I think you must have the coolest shop ever, and I'm sad it's so far away (I'm in Texas). And the dress is amazing!
