Leather Laptop Bags!

Alright lovely peoples, Finally finished photographing my latest two laptop bags, the barcelona and the madrid. The barcelona I made originally was with a luscious reddish brown like the Madrid bag, but I sold it before I got a chance to take pictures so this is the second take. I've also made it in a really lovely dark chocolate brown.

The strap is my pride and joy - it's designed to split and be worn across both shoulders to distribute the weight for long journeys (because seriously, laptops weigh a ton!), and then put together if you want to wear it across just one shoulder.

The Madrid bag has a detatchable compartment designed for the power supply - you can put your cables in the external pouch or use the bag solo.

The leather had the letters "JU" marked on it - I thought they were neat!

The two compartments (the main one for the laptop and the external removable one for the power supply) both close with antique skeleton keys.

The madrid bag's strap, while less complex, is also designed for weight distribution. The split strap means that it contours the shoulder so that one piece sits on the higher part of the shoulder and the other piece on the lower part, distributing the weight evenly.

No pattern, I'm awful with them. I tend to just envision something and go with it - the laptop bags I just put my laptop down on a piece of leather, wrapped it around and cut pieces. The edges I try and keep whatever the leather was cut as, so that's why they all have those asymmetrical and cool quirky shapes.
