The ocean scene is too cute! I swear one of these days I am trying some sort of tinting technique - they always turn out so cool! I think the seahorse is my fave, he looks like he has such personality.  Smiley

I received from Averia today for my "spiderwebs" theme and the pieces she made are just beautiful. i can't believe the tiny tiny stitching. I believe the smaller hoop is 3" - she said this captures the one that got away.  Smiley I'm surprised that my camera actually was able to pick up some of the irridescence. The moth is more of a white with a little bit of sparkle.

Here are some close-ups to show off. Averia - what is that loopy stitch you used on the wings that is just under the french knots? I love it.

I love my hoops, they make me less sad for missing the dyptich round  Wink Thank you so much Averia!!

I'm so glad you like it! The loopy stitch is called pekingese. Fiorinda had mentioned it once and since i had never heard of it i had to track it down and try it out.

All of these are so great!!  There was a bit of a learning curve with the french knot... took me ages to get it right every time!

The loopy stitch is called pekingese.
(my next stitch!)

Sorry about the dull autumn light. It's made of really pretty linen and felted wool. It's just lovely, beautiful colours and texture - thank you very much Robin! Smiley
