Wow- that threadwork crown thing is awesome!! Yay 'Ender's Game'!!

And both of the sheepBlue hoops are wonderful (especially the Steampunk bird!)... and make me anxious for Monday to see what she's made me. Wink

The birdie hoops are very pretty : I am utterly in awe of the Enders Game hoop, one of my favourite books, and the crown is brilliant.  Makes me want to do more hardanger.

Ahhh I just got back from the best meet up with PirateColey!! We got together for breakfast and swapped hoops, and spent over 2 hours chatting. I easily could have stayed longer but I have to go to school  Undecided So not in the mood for that any more haha.

Anyway, I knew she made me something awesome for my "oujia/fortune telling" theme and it blew my mind!!!! So much better than anything I was ever expecting.  Grin Grin She said she had a dream that she made this hoop so it was completely fate and I'm so honored to own this beautiful piece of art.

It's hard to tell in the picture but the eye piece is actually dimensional, sitting on top of the fabric, and she used a clear scrapbooking dot for the glass part which is perfect! I so love love love it!

I didn't get any pictures of our meet up but she did so she'll be posting those. Nicole, you rock!

Here's my great Potter hoopla from sheepBlue:

Oh- there are glittery bits around the wand that don't show up in the picture...

Seriously- sheepBlue is my new best friend. I love her to bits, because she's geeky and adorible. We're going to set my husband and her boyfriend up on a man-date.

Here we are, with our new hooplas, looking cute. Smiley

Thank you again, Emma! It looks totally awesome on my wall!! We'll have to get together again when we both have the whole day free.

Oh, you girls must have had so much fun!! You look so cute showing off the hoops! Smiley

Wish there were some Craftsters around here for a crafty get-together! NZ's a LOOONG way away from most of you, and I'm not in a main centre either. But I am planning to visit US again in November! Exciting!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.
