hmm, and here i have been thinking of waxing my upper lip - who knew facial hair could be so pretty on a woman? Maybe i will have to rethink the waxing.

I love the hoop within the hoop concept and the mixing of embroidered ribbon and real ribbon.

I got my first hoopla today... thank you, Troublet!

This super cute hoop has purple and magenta flowers with french knot centers.  I really like the greenery at the bottom - what kind of stitch is that?

YAY! I always worry when sending a hoop in the mail. I think the mailman is going to break the hoop, chew on it, run over it, or whatnot. Wink

The stitch along the bottom is called a wheatear. It's a composite stitch (meaning made up of two or more basic stitches) using the lazy daisy and back stitches. I'm writing up a tute on it this week. It became one of my favorite stitches after finishing up my current Hoopla hoop.

I'm glad that you're happy with your first bit of Hoopla. Smiley
