I might be interested in trying a crocheted version.  Do you have a pattern in mind?

If not, what about?

Creepy Cute also has one...but maybe that's too cute?

Oh my gosh, Sansa!  You are a lace knitting machine!!!!  Nice work!

It was really quick actually. I used a sholderette pattern similar to Annis for the body. Then I did the lace. I stuffed it up and had an odd number of repeats intead of even, so I had to rip it back. It took only two days to finish it again. It is the red left over from your bird and vine mittens and it is going to my mother for her birthday. I was short enough yarn for the bind off and nearly had a heart attack but found another ball so all was well.

I have started a Saroyan with the green left overs. It might be a while though. Capsicum season starts next week.

I reuploaded my quilt pic so here it is.

I made a few crocheted cthulhu a while back... I have the creepy cute book but I actually used the 2nd pattern atsuko posted for the ones I made. They were pretty quick/easy.  I am however not offering to make it, we have WAY too much going on atm (and for the next month+), sorry.  I know atsuko could whip them up no problem!

BEAUTIFUL QUILT, Sansa!!

Hmm, don't know if I can whip it up that fast Zelda, but I'll give it a go.  Smiley
I hope you won't mind claiming it sometime in the next round Ptarmic.

This round is almost up anyway Smiley

Great quilt, Sansa!

Hmmm, I had plans to get some sewing and dyeing done this weekend, but just discovered that the carpet in my bedroom is soggy along one entire wall near the A/C unit. The good thing about renting is that I get to dump this problem on my property manager's lap, but if I have to move my stuff out of the room, I'll end up sleeping in the living room for a while...

I hope those of you in the US are having a lovely long weekend. I have knit the CRAP out of my sweater, boxed some packages up, cooked a great deal, and am generally loving my 3 day weekend.
