Sorry I was MIA yesterday.

I had to go to the ER because I was having signs of a stroke. It took six hours to see someone to tell me it was just a very bad migraine. It seems like everyone is going to the hospital nowadays.

I'm on the mend and nursing my bruises and my bruised ego.

As for crafting I'm in tip top shape. Can't say the same for Canada Post. They look like they will strike come Friday morning.

I've finished Zzdia's gift and will HOPEFULLY get it out through Canada Post tonight (unless my boss lets me use the company DHL system for personal stuff and then I'll be able to get it out and avoid the strike by tomorrow!!!)

Just briefly since I have a moment, for those who don't know, I was in the ER this weekend and was admitted. I'm home now but I need an emergency hysterectomy (at age 34) for massive tumors and cysts in my uterus. I just wanted to publicly say I'm sorry if I am out of touch but this was very sudden, very unexpected and it's throwing my whole world into a tailspin. For those interested, the details are my blog. If I'm MIA for awhile, that's why.

Thanks to the group for such a fun swap and I can't wait to be well again, have this behind me and get back to normal crafting and swapping.

Yay! I'm glad your package got there Ivory! I've been staring at your birthday card (and 2 mother's day cards for my grandma's) that were supposed to go out this week so frustrated! I've been without internet for days and days and days, so I couldn't make a note, that I didn't include the note!!!

I'm glad you like everything, I scored tons of vintage crochet patterns this past winter, and some knitting ones too. I am awful at knitting, so knew I had to try to pass them off to someone who could use them. If you aren't into them, feel free to pass them along too. The TP covers I made them that way because you like stripes and lots of color. The one on the left in the pic, also doubles as a tissue box cover(if you have the tall vs the shorter box).

Eww. I've had that same thing happen before but my mom has migraines too so she calmed me down before I went running to the hospital thinking I was dying. As far as the bruised ego, that's not as embarassing as when I thought I was going def. I was freaking out because I'd wake up with my ears ringing every day and finally got into the doctor and it turned out that it was just my wisdom teeth coming in and the swelling in my jaw was pinching a nerve or something. That was embarassing. Although it did give me a whole new respect for teething babies.
