Ongoing ATC Swap - May, 2011

 Thank you so much for the compliments. I have seen your work so that means a lot. Your stuff is fantastic!
 So far most of mine have been color pencil with the Mod Podge layer and then water color. I need to expand but I am taking it one month at a time. Next month I will work on embellishments! Ha! I am so glad you liked her! I did her early in the trading and just waited for you to come back up in rotation.

lol.  I've done that myself a few times!  It becomes a game: "I've made the ATC, now can I catch her?"   Too fun!

I'm not very active this month, and won't be probably until July, so I'm happy you were able to catch me!  I've only made 2 claims, while I usually make about 10!

AmandaBL~ I found the paperwork behind a cabinet at a school that was going to be tore down, also just an fyi...The birds I cut out of a vintage children's book. 

And now.  I would like to thank JillHogan for my artist choice card.  It is so cute and I love the raised up pearls.  Ooooo...Also THANKS for the candy.  I love candy especially if it is sour.

  I got a huge surprise when I opened the mailbox and got three wonderful ATC's!
 First up is AmandaBL. She did my fantasy girls theme and made crazy great fabric ATC. I think it's wool or felt. It is stunning! So much detail!


Next is "The Winter Lady" from blupasian (from my ladies in different seasons theme). I love the way you draw. I hope your hand heals quickly!!!


 And last by not least...D is for Dharma (ABC's of Lost) from jmiller614. I love it. Love it. Love it. I miss Lost so much. I really hope I can get the entire ABC's! My friend and I had a fun time guessing what D would be. I said Dharma, she said Desmond.

I struck it rich!  So many wonderful cards, all in the same day. i think fate knew that i needed cheering up.  I am so sorry for the out of focus pics, my hand is not doing well.  - have surgery on it tomorrow so eventually it will be able to take proper pictures, not shaking.

the above shot is of "something obscure that happened in 1963." I am quite mesmerized by this image. I dont know how it was done, but I think it is terrific!  It is done by JMiller614. There was both a total solar eclipse AND the first woman in space in 1963 (my birth year, Jmiller, to answer your question...) so she combined the two in one awesome card.

I love how the flowers frame the sunrise. such a cool idea and medium.

and from kwality570, embroidery, which you can see in the hot pink lines behind Mr B as i am calling him. The lines are sort of "Ta Da!" in my opinion.  such a fun card.

 Oooh. You did get lucky with your cards. They are great. I love the way the solar eclipse was done. Very bold and eye catching.
 The baby seal is adorable! Beautiful sunset. I like the color choice. And you just can't deny a cute monster from kwality570 (I am secretly hoping to have one in my collection one day).
 Great job and a ton of cards went up today!
