Had to share one of the simple skirts I made with Lindy's fantastic heggie's fabric.  Smiley

And a pic of the taggie and bibs for Lana's hula sister.  She does a mean Tahitian dance and is super sweet so even though we don't know her well we wanted to make her a little something.  Lana helped pound in the snaps.  Luckily I didn't lose a finger.

I'll take a blueberry martini please!! I got a flat tire on the way to pick up my son from school and was stranded in the boonies until  my friend and her husband came to my rescue. I did't know how to change a tire  Embarrassed but I do now! Of course only I would have this kind of luck. *sigh*

Good luck with the house hunting mimi and Lindy! Our house was the second one we looked at, so I'm not much help. lol

atsuko, that skirt is adorable! I love that hedgehog fabric. Smiley The taggie and bibs look good too!

And my lil guy just woke up. There goes my evening crafty time.  Angry

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Neat!  I've never heard of a blueberry martini....sounds cute though.  I'm imagining little blueberries floating around.   Smiley

Thanks!  You have all now seen the extent of my sewing skills.  LOL.  Lana is enjoying these simple skirts and I can't wait to spoil her with the nice ones that Luck and BST are making her.  Smiley  Now where is that postperson??

That hedgie fabric is adorable !!

I could kick myself this morning. The DGDs spent the night last night and Madison DGD #1, informed me that she didn't have an outfit here suitable for school at about 7pm last night. I go to the sewing room to see what I have and remember this awesome men's button down I bought the other day to turn into a pencil skirt for me & just decided to use that for her. So I whipped her up a skirt, then took leftover fabric from the shirt and used it to do an applique on a blank white girls Tee I had and also made a matching hairband for her. Then we of course had to paint an old ugly pair of ballet slippers black/sparkly to go with the black in the skirt. It came out GREAT in less than an hour and what did I do ? forgot to take pics of her this morning before she went to school ! UGGH !

I'm such a boring drinker....just give me a nice cold Yuengling Lager and I'm a happy camper.

I still have wine coolers in the fridge from Christmas cause I just don't drink mixed/fruity/wine drinks ever.

Dawl, Ack!  Well hopefully you can get her mom or dad to snap a shot of her.  I bet she loved it!  You're a good grandma!

I'm not much of a drinker, but I do love pina coladas!  Smiley  It's been years since I actually had one though.  My friends did bring over a Belgian cherry beer that was soo yummy that I actually had most of the bottle.  Hehe.  I love fruity drinks.  Smiley
