Red Velvet, Stripey Birthday Cake

So....

It's my friends birthday today and she's havin' a BBQ but last night me and another friend decided to try and make her a birthday cake - we both do bake but this one is something totally different.

I finished it about 10 mins ago (I'm posting while I wait to get picked up to take it away)...this is the final piece....

Without it's clothes on   



Every second layer is red velvet and there's buttercream between each layer - and all over.

Then we covered it...look how lop-sided it is...



So we just waited until that was dry and put more frosting on it to even it out and I stuck a bow I had left over from a birthday present years ago.



Hopefully she'll enjoy it...any C&C's are welcome!
