Nature is purdy, so here are some pictures.  Also, random quote:  I want to see mountains again Gandalf, mountains!
All right, this one isn't anywhere near the Blue Ridge Parkway, but it's pretty.  I actually took this picture in Tennesse.  My undergrad college had a tree whose branches naturally formed this way.  Of course, once I noticed the tree the weather decided a monsoon lasting for a few weeks would be nice, so it took me about a month to get a good picture
.

These are a couple of the few images where I significantly altered them on the computer (usually I don't do anything).  I wanted the red to really popped out, so I fiddled with the settings.

My dad dragged me on a dawn patrol to shoot some photos.  I woke up at an obscenely early time, but it was worth it.  The morning was absolutely beautiful.

For this picture, my dad actually told me to stand in the middle of the road. I don't know about you, but this isn't something I usually hear from my dad.

We were heading back home when my dad noticed the lighting and suddenly said "oh oh!" and immediately pulled over on the side of the road

Gorgeous! I love trees, love seeing images of them. Also cool that you and your dad could do that together. Smiley
