I use IE and usually have the "ignore colors" accessibility feature checked.  I just wanted to thank you for setting up the navigation etc buttons so they're still visible even without the colors.

I visit a few other sites and all their buttons disappear with the colors shut off making it harder to navigate. I know for sites I visit a lot where the buttons are but I'm still hovering the mouse around a blank spot looking for just the right place to click, but new sites are harder to navigate.

That's great to hear! I must admit that we didn't do it intentionally but I'm so glad it works out well for you! We'll keep this in mind if we add any new navigation buttons too.

I dunno if this is the right sort of place to put this, but, I must tell you all how excited I got when I read this months "Sew" magazine, it had an interview with Leah in it, talking about prom dresses!! I was just so excited that Craftster had made it into a British mag, and I'm so pleased that Craftster is reaching out to a wider audience. (I have ulterior motives... I'm hoping more British people will see it so there will be more "locals" for swaps!!  Grin )

Yay Craftster and yay Leah!

Oh awesome!! I was great to talk to them about that article. And I really appreciate you taking the time to let us know about this. Grin

Thanks! I didn't completely realize it either until I was on another site and had to turn on the colors so I could find & use some of the links and buttons. While I had the colors 'on' I came over here to see what links or buttons I was missing because they disappear with 'colors off.'

I couldn't find any - they all showed up with colors on or off. It totally explained why this site is one of the easier ones to navigate (I thought I just knew where everything was because I'm here so much  Grin )

Psst- hey Leah & other Craftster folks-
I LOVE the holiday thematic smilies that have appeared over the past few weeks.  The Christmas hats made me chuckle, and today's New Years Party themed smilies are totally rocking my socks!

It's the awesome little things that make me really just love this place.  Thanks for all of the smiles (no pun intended)!  Grin

I know it's been said before, but I love the friendliness of Craftster. With so much anger, hatred and just plain meanness all over the internet right now, it's nice to be able to come to Craftster and see people being nice and supportive. It always makes me feel better about the state of the world.
