How do I post pictures?Basically you need webspace to upload your pictures to and then after you upload them you use special tags to make them show up in your post on Craftster. Click here for lots more info this very subject:
http://www.craftster.org/craftsterguide.html#anchor5bPlease note that in order to prevent spam bots and spammers from posting inappropriate pictures, you must post 10 times in the forum before you are allowed to post a picture. In the mean time you are allowed to post links to pictures.
Why do other people's pictures sometimes not show up for me?Sometimes people post pictures and later on they delete them from wherever they were being stored. So if you're reading a thread and all kinds of people have commented on some pictures but you can't see them, it's quite possible that they've disappeared. Sometimes webhosts will only allow a picture to be displayed X times in a day. So a picture may disappear on day and return the next day. I created Craftster's own free
Picture Hosting area to help with this problem.

What do I do if someone's pictures aren't showing up?If the pictures someone has posted aren't showing up, please send that person an Instant Message asking if they would conswider fixing the problem. Don't post about this out right in the thread.
I posted a message and it seems to have disappeared, what happened?There are volunteer moderators on Craftster who help keep Craftster organized by occasionally moving or merging threads when it is needed. For example, perhaps someone posted a message in the wrong folder, it will be moved to the right folder. Or if someone asks a question and there's already a thread on that exact same topic, they may be merged. At any point you can see all the messages you've posted (and where they might have been moved to) by clicking
Profile and then
Show Posts.
How do I change my user name/screen name?You need to open a ticket on the
Help Desk, (
http://www.craftster.org/helpdesk) if you want to change your name on Craftster. People used to be able to give themselves a different "screen name" than their "user name" in their Profile screen, but this was causing too much confusion for moderators and swaps when people would all of a sudden change identity.
How do I change my e-mail address?Click on "Profile" in the blue bar above, in this new screen there is a menu on the left side of the screen. Click "Account Related Settings" and type your new e-mail address into the "E-mail" area.
Is my IP address showing to everyone? What about my email address?Neither of them are visible to anyone except the administrators of this form. Your IP address is automatically visible to yourself, as is your e-mail address. Rest assured, no other members or visitors to this site else can see these private pieces of information.
The project or question I want to post falls under more than one category. Do I post it in both places?Nope. You need to pick just one category. We require this because it keeps Craftster more organized to have related information in ONE thread.
I am having trouble logging out of Craftster. What's wrong, and how do I fix it?Occasionally the logout button doesn't work and so what you have to do is delete any cookies that start with:
www.craftster.orgor
craftster.org
And then it should start working again.
