I made this recently for a swap, and am super proud so I wanted to share. My awesome partner wanted an envelope organizer to help organize her cash flow and budgeting. So this is what I came up with.

I actually went with a coptic stitch with six handmade envelopes. The covers are made from cereal box cardboard (my go to for any journal covers).

I made a tiny pocket in the front so she could quickly stash receipts or cash. Each of the envelopes has a tab so she can write what each envelope is for.

In the back cover I made some little notepads that slide into a little slit in the back cover paper. I included two extra ones that she can easily replace.

I am really pleased with how this turned out, and I actually would like to try a couple more with a few modifications. Any feedback would be most welcome.

Thanks for looking! Smiley

very professional looking - and so well thought out! I find I don't purchase things like that because they never quite meet all the criteria - but you seem to have hit it all .... except for a place for a pen, maybe? I find I end up with pens chasing each other in the bottom of my purse, and can never find one when I need it.

I adore this! (And I added it onto my favorites! Smiley)

I always have such a hard time picking out organizers of any kind because they either a) never suit my needs or b) never suit my tastes - but yours works for both!

I agree that there should be a place for a pen and I'd love to see pictures when you make your next one.
