I was watching the movie Goodfellas when I heard a line that I knew I needed to stitch.  The quote just wouldn't stand on its own, so I went in search of the perfect image to go with it.  For some reason I thought a creepy clown would be a good fit; when this one came up in my search I knew it was the one and hope you'll agree. The pattern was traced off of an old quilt block that fellow Craftster iamsusie shared on her blog.  It is also available in the Hoop Love flickr group.

Poor little duck. Quote from Jimmy Conway, Robert De Niro's character in Goodfellas.

CraftyOctober inspired me to do use the turkey work stitch for the clown's pom pom with her awesome Mythbusters project.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome.  Thanks to everyone on Craftster for keeping me inspired with their wonderful work.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

I really like the writing, great font and you stitched it so perfectly! I know this is going to sound funny, but my fave all time movie is Wizard of Oz and my 2nd all time fave movie IS Goodfellas!! I don't know what that says bout me though...haha. I am very familiar with the line. I like to randomly scream "I'm sorry...I'm sorry!! " at my boyfriend sometimes like the Mrs did when she freaked out on Ray Liotta's character...just good fun.

I totally heart your project!!  Cool

Thank you for all of the nice comments.  It was a fun project to stitch.

Grin I just saw the whole movie uncensored for the first time (I know, shameful).  Lots of good quotable stuff in there, just can't use most of it in front of the kids.
