Well, my partner is having some trouble posting pics, so I thought I'd take some of the burden off....more pictures to come, if she wishes, when she is able.

I'd never made a wind chime before, so I work somewhat obsessively until I finished - as I tend to do.  Roll Eyes Everything is found or dug out of my collection of hoarded objects, except the stainless steel cup and bowl (which were thrifted).

I won't bore you with the details of where everything.  Here are some pictures

This was an incredibly fun project, and I have to hand it to bobbiemay for organizing the swap - I probably never would have thought to make my own wind chime in my life if I hadn't seen the swap on Craftster.

Aww, thanks!  As I said, it was super fun to make and I plan on making more....when my poor hand recovers from all the drilling!!

Fantastic!!  I love it!!!  Is that stained glass or stones?  I love the pop of color.  Great job, can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with.  I will be constructing this week/weekend -planning and sketching complete.

arachnes thumb- thanks so much for posting pix, and I am completely in awe of your work, if this really isn't your first windchime!!!  Wink  Our town is finally wading our way out of the water- the Mississippi crested yesterday, and the water is everywhere.  About 22,000 people were displaced from their homes....amazing.  Luckily we didn't get flooding, but were definitely impacted by it.

So thankfully the weather had done a 180, and now we are in our 'summer time' of 90 degree sunny days, so I put out my windchime, and it sounds LOVELY!!

Here are the pix I got, and they really don't do justice.

my favorite part- beaded dragonfly!

a close up of the top-

just fantastic!!  thank you soooo much! Smiley

onecrazymom...sorry to hear about the flooding in your area...I see it on tv, but it's another to hear it 'first-hand'...I do hope that recovery goes quickly and all stays dry for you!  Beautiful windchime that you have, too!
arachnes thumb did a stunning work on it...esp. the beaded dragonfly... Smiley  *WoW*
