I actually do hooping and fire dancing in conjunction with my belly dancing. If you want to talk about flow and amazing energy, try fire dancing!

Unfortunately I was not able to join this time. Workload is just to heavy at the end of the semester and I felt that I couldn't put the effort in my crafting my partner would have deserved..  Sad I'll follow the thread and gallery and if there will be a second round in autumn, I'll be happy to join that one.

Oh yes, I spin fire, both poi and hoop.  Fire hooping not so much because I only bought it last year and it's something to get use to after practicing with a regular hoop.  The weight and size is so much different.  I'd like to give polypro a try though.  Fire poi I've been practicing for about 6 years.  Belly dancing I'd like to learn.

Do you have any photos or videos posted somewhere?

We seem to have a bit in common.  =)

I was wondering what your situation was.  I'm sure there will be future rounds pending the interest.  Craftster keeps me in crafting mode.

I just got home from ParaLounge and it was amazing and I've been totally inspired by the amazing energy.  I tried a hoop and fell back in love with it (after not doing it for a very long time)  I can't wait to start crafting this week.   I also craft to keep myself some what sane too.

I... am very close to taking the fabric I bought Friday night out of the bag and trying to figure out what I will do with it.

I also picked up a supply for project #2 during the weekend.  An idea came to me after sewarty shared a mediation experience and since she's up for corny, I may go with it!
