"Energy is action and movement. All action is movement and all action is energy.

All desire is energy. All feeling is energy. All thought is energy. All living is energy. All life is energy. If that energy is allowed to flow without any contradiction, without any friction, without conflict, then that energy, is boundless, endless. When there is no friction there are no frontiers to energy. It is friction which gives energy limitations. So, having once seen this, why is it that the human being always brings friction into energy?

Why does he create friction in this movement which we call life? Is pure energy, energy without limitations just an idea to him? Does it have no reality"?

Energy Healing is open to those with blockages of the mind, body, and/or spirit to overcome.  We all have them somewhere.  This swap also welcomes those who consciously practice the prevention of disease.  Feel free to join from where you are.

Wish for gifts based on various approaches that touch on healing.  Are you a Reiki practitioner?  Do you enjoy a relaxing massage?  Have you studied Ayurveda?  Does your medicine consist of herbs/plants?   Do you start the day with a Sun Salutation?  There are plenty of other paths that support wellness and open living as well.  Healthy eating, mindful breathing, therapy crafting, etc.

The one theme that could be iffy for some is of course, religion.  While I'm not opposed to religious items making their way on anyone's wishlist, others may have reservations about it.  Please make sure you have a fair number of non-religious options for your partner to feel inspired by as well.

There is no point system that must be followed this round, just let your ideas flow.  This worked seemingly well for the Herbalism and Yoga swaps I've organized and I'd like to try to keep it open to accomodate possible budget and crafting time limitations.  Be sure to pay attention to your partner's questionnaire though and to dedicate your full potential and energy to each gift you can offer.  While efforts can be made between partners to avoid a largely unbalanced exchange, it is important to understand and accept that such an outcome may occur regardless.

One other point I'd like to make clear is that your primary/"big'" gift must be:

A- crafted.  You are free to purchase extras but your main gift must be created by you.

B- created specifically for this swap and specifically for your partner.  This is obviously difficult to enforce but please wait until you know who your partner is and take the time to stalk him/her!  You'll be all the more thoughtful about your gift if you do.  With the freedom in the amount you craft and a month and a half to create the main gift, this seems like a reasonable request to make.

If you would like to participate, complete and submit the following questionnaire to me, dreadlocklove.  Please include “Energy Healing” in the subject line.

Name of swap: Energy Healing
Craftster username:
Email address:
Real name:
Are you 18 years or older? YES/NO
Mailing address, including the country (please include the appropriate line breaks):
Have you read and understood all of the conditions outlined in the Swap Info Guide, and do you agree to abide by them?  YES/NO

Do you agree to be an active participant in the discussion forum – perhaps a post to keep everyone updated on your progress each week – and to stay in regular communication with your partner? YES/NO

Do you agree to put 100% effort in each gift you create for your partner? YES/NO

Are you willing to ship your package to an international destination? YES/NO
Are you willing to provide a delivery confirmation number to your organizer and partner upon shipping your package?  If your partner lives outside of your country, do you agree to provide a copy of your receipt? YES/NO
Are you willing to take photographs of the packages both sent and received, as well as post a photo of the gifts you received in the gallery? YES/NO

What does healing mean to you?

How do you feel, in terms of body, mind, and spirit?

Are there areas in your life that you would like to bring attention to or are currently working to heal?

Are there any forms of healing that you would like to learn more about?

Do you act as a facilitator for others' healing?  If so, how?

Do you follow any traditions/rituals that may be related to Energy Healing?

What types of crafts do you enjoy and/or are there any specific gifts you would like to create? *** Note that this question is to help me group partners and will not be revealed to your partner ***

What is your Energy Healing Wishlist (include a minimum of 5-10 items)?

Are there any gifts you would rather not receive, whether due to allergies or general aversions?

What is your general personality/style?

Are there any websites your partner can visit to get a better sense of who you are (ie: Wists, Etsy, Blogs, etc.)?

Is smoking permitted in your home?
Do you have petmates?

Is there any other relevant information that you would like to share?

Also remember to read and understand the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

This is exactly the type of swap I need!  I am afraid to join as I am working a lot and have very little free time.  But I think I may have to sacrifice the free time I have for this one!

Living this life as fully as I can.

Would really love to participate, but I am new and still involved in my first swap. I will sign up if I finish my swap in time and have feedback!

ayanared:  The flexibility of a swap without a point-system may be perfect for you.  In the Herbalism and Yoga swaps I've organized, the package sizes varied within the groups.  A potential partner of yours may be wanting to keep it small as well.  Even if you're only looking to create one item, it's all good.  I'd recommend you simply be open about your intention and stay in good communication about the crafting process.  Should they choose to spoil you anyway, I'd say just allow the generosity to make its way to you.

 Grin Hi everyone  Grin
I cant wait to join this swap Cheesy
I found this quote today and thought I would share it Cheesy

DR Masaru Emoto took water from the same source, divided it in two containers, one container he labelled LOVE, the other HATE. He then froze both containers and put them under a microscope. The container labelled LOVE formed the most beautiful crystals, the one labelled HATE formed ugly dishevelled shapes. The same test has been repea...ted countless times all over the world. When water has been exposed to loving kind thoughts, beautiful pictures, music, such as Beethoven etc, it freezes in the most beautiful crystals. Water, when exposed to thoughts of hatred, pictures, such as Adolf Hitler, heavy metal music, have all tuned out ugly and dishevelled when frozen.
Water is the driving force of all nature, if the world, you, and me, are made up of 70% to 90% water, and our thoughts shape water, how are your thoughts shaping you? .

Have a fab day
