I bought this fabric a while back from a sweet little store. If anyone is in the San Francisco Area, Peapod Fabrics is a great place to get cute fabrics!

I knew what I wanted it to be as soon as I picked it up. Little did I know it would be the most annoying time consuming bag ever. I actually told my dad "I want to burn this! OR cry!"

But I continued, finished it, and am quite excited about how it turned out! It's lined in pink, and the handles are just piping cord wrapped in blue fabric.

Let me know what you think! Smiley

This is fabulous!  I love the fabric and the little flounce at the top.  Awesome job!

Love it!  Did you use a pattern?  I've been wanting to make one very similar.  Although, since you're calling it the purse from hell, maybe I'll just buy one like it, lol.

I didn't. I came up with it in my head, which is probably why it was so complicated. I'm thinking about 10 million ways it could have been easier for me  Undecided

The pattern will probably be easier. I was wingin' this bag and hadn't really thought out the entire thing while I was making it.

lol, well I was planning on wingin' it too so maybe I'll try to find a pattern.  Well, it turned out great so hopefully it was worth the work!

Omg, this bag is sooo cute. Wish you had a tutorial for it. But since you called it purse from hell, maybe you might not want to do it again. =/
