I made a couple purses the last week. I tried a couple different patterns.

The Buttercup bag is darling. However I'm not sure my wallet will fit in it. I screwed the top up too. Not sure if I got the fabric crooked or what. I might have to consider buying the pattern for the bigger size.

Then I tried this purse. The bigger purse was easier to sew just because it was bigger. I started with her pattern and kinda didi my own thing, mostly by accident. I do like to make things my own.  I'll make this one again for sure.

Thanks for all the kind words.  I wanted spring colors, so I thought it was perfect. However it's almost too girlie for me. I can't wait to do one in fall colors.

Just a thought....if you want to make the buttercup bag bigger....just enlarge the pattern yourself....there's another post on the forum about alterations to the Buttercup bag by Queenofdiy, including a zippered version (I think!)

You did a great job on both.....look out, the bag making bug seems to have another victim!
