So I sewed together a Med Kit for my Cosplay at fanimecon 2011, I will be going as a [kinda large] Zoey. I need to get holsters and a gun, some PILLZ, and a belt.
Need that red jacket too....and the shoes. Damn I need a bunch xD

So the red is canvas material, two zippers (fully functional) I backed it with some foam, the black straps are made of an elastic material.  I used some transfer paper for the First Aid symbol and  the cross is some white cotton blend and the res is the same as well. I cut out the cross after I drew it on and saw what a prisma did to the fabric XD. I sewed it on like a patch rather than trying to make it perfect since its for me.

So thats it! I'm going to use it to store my phone and such during the con.
Oh! and since in game it looks like it magically sticks to their back, I'm going to get some clear elastic to attach as a backpack to make it look floatie xD

It looks very useful. I like the idea of clear elastic to make it float.
One aside: if you are wearing something that says first aid, make sure that at least you know where to contact the real first aider in case someone mistakes you.

That looks so awesome! You have to show us pictures of you all dressed up. I wish I knew how to sew...I'd definitely make one of these. Love L4D! Oh yeah, I saw somewhere that there might be a L4D swap sometime. You should check it out.
