Painted on a canvas (piece from ikea for about a $1) /acrylics/, sealed with mod podge and seasoned in lonely corners to get more wrinkels and dust specs (didn`t mean to, but had no frame). AND the frame: a piece of junk found next to a trash can- just filthy woodcolor (OLD!!!! ) and just gross lookin empty frame, that also sat on my back porch for a few months...`til yesterday, when i sanded it and lightly colored with white and resanded the edges.

Oh my god. That is probably the best thing ever. I would definitely love to have a painting like that! Especially with how thrifty you were! Congrats on finding/getting everything so cheap!! I love it! It's so hard to do cool crafts these days without spending a butt load. I am also slightly obsessed in love with octopi lately. Such a cool painting!
