I claim Dawl's Laptop case. I'm really excited to make it.

I am a 40 something mom to 2 teens. I live in Iowa. I work at a police department. We have a dog and we just lost our cat. So sad.   Wink    I love crafting and reading. Oh, and browsing Craftster.

I love woodland creatures. Especially ducks, since Im a Ducks Unlimited volunteer. Ive seen a lot of the hedge hogs lately and they are so cute. I like flamingos and tropical fish. Yellow and orange are my favorite colors. I wear mostly blues and greens.

I don't care for cigarette smoke at all.

http://www.wists.com/kriSmith

Wish List

Crafted:
Hand carved Ducks Unlimited stamp. 1 - 2 inches  Really want!

Doggie diapers. For a female dog in heat. She is a vizsla. Camo with a ruffle over the butt for my husband. Something more girly for me to put her in. Not overly cutesy or my husband will not let me use them.   Wink
Shes supposed to a tough hunting dog. If you have a pattern, I would love a copy since I cant seem to find one. Measurements to come.
Similar to this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/68754072/dog-diaper-pantie-for-female-apples-bees

Needle Book. I have several on my wists, but whatever you come up with is fine with me. I prefer a book style, not the envelope style.

Tampon case for my daughter 16 years old. More a book style then a roll. She loves monkeys. Not into sugar skulls.

Stenciled tshirt for my 17 y/o son. Size Large. Preferably black. He loves rock bands. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns and Roses, Korn, Motley Crue. Korn is his fav.

Duck light switch for family room. Two hole plate. A real duck, not a cartoon.

Any duck items. I have lots in my wist. Im a volunteer for Ducks Unlimited. DU logo on it would be fine.

Fused glass pendant-Blues, greens, yellows.  More of a square or rectangle then round. I so want to learn this craft. I have a kiln, just no knowledge.

Nook cover-I LOVE these covers. I have a regular Nook, not the Nook color.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/belisledesigns?ref=seller_info
or
A fabric Nook cover. With a hard case that opens like a book. I want to protect my Nook.

Blankets to donate to Project Linus. My daughter is doing her Girl Scout Gold award and her goal is collect 500 blankets for Project Linus. Girls/boys/teens.

2 pillow covers for my family room. I dont have pillow forms yet, so whatever size you pick is fine with me as long as its a standard size. Its a man cave with bird prints on the wall. So browns, mossy greens, golds.

Woodsy theme, but not cutesy. I have several in my wist.

Duck jewelry I prefer silver, copper or gun metal. Ducks Unlimited is good. Lots of variety in my wist.
Any jewelry similar to my wists.

Stenciled t-shirt/ Womens fitted  Large. V neck please. Would like the art work to be in the front, off to the side. Birds, owls, penguins, flamingo, flowers, trees, hearts, fish, dragonflies, butterflies, turtles, etc. I wear greens, blues, purples, white, black, yellows.

Fun appliqued pot holders. I have no color theme in my kitchen.

Gauze scarf. A light color with flowers or some little print for spring.

A wisty surprise.

Going to snag kbauer for Would LOVE a Tree of Life pendant/necklace or one of those bird nest pendants w/ a pearl to represent each of my babes.

First claim round 70!

About Me
33 year old woman who lives in Florida (USA) with my guy and two cats. It's my birthday month!! I'll be 34 on May 16th
  • My favorite colors are jewel tones (like amethyst purple, emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue, turquoise, and amber) or earth tones (like greens/browns together).
  • My favorite color combination is a deep teal blue and chocolate brown together. It makes me happy.
  • My favorite colors for shirts/clothes are browns, greens, purples, and both heather and charcoal greys.
  • I also love things that go along with my "PhoenixFire" theme like reds/oranges/yellows together
  • I like silver but not really gold. (Copper's ok too.)
  • My favorite animals are cats, owls, penguins, bats and red foxes.
  • My favorite flower is the Daffodil.
  • My favorite movie is Back to the Future
  • My favorite hobbies include: reading, photography and I love all things Disney!

ALLERGIES
I suffer from migraines so please NOTHING musk/amber/patchouli/dragon's blood or floral scented. Unless it smells like you can eat it, it will give me a migraine. I LOVE fruit and dessert scents greatly though. Also, please no bar soaps (skin is sensitive to glycerin) and nothing with artificial sweeteners like NutraSweet (aspartame) or Splenda (sucralose) as I'm allergic to both.

Crafty Wishes

 Grin = BIG WISH!

Sewing
-- Grin Grin Nook cover! I like this style a lot. (Also, like the one by mimiw! I got a regular Nook (NOT nook color) for Christmas and I'd like some cases! I put some fabric examples and such here and some here for fabric inspiration ideas.thanks J_Kieviet but I think I need more to change up with my mood!

-- A Day Tote/Weekender Bag. There's not a thing I don't love about this one for example, but it could be in different fabrics of similar colors for example. It looks sturdy and says it has pockets and the shape is really lovely. I also really like this one which would be a lovely weekender bag since I don't own any luggage. And of course, Amy Butler's pattern is neat but it wouldn't have to be in her fabric. I could really use a larger, overnight-type bag of some sort!!

-- A simple robe. I really like this style. Doesn't have to be exactly like that but I like the Japanese/Asian/Cherry Blossom influence, but it could be other colors/patterns that I like as well. Doesn't need to be form-fitting, can be a little roomy just not too oversized. (A little roomy is fine.) I'm generally a US size 4 and can send measurements!

NEW --Comfy Lounge Pants I get home and immediately change into comfy pants for around the house. I can always use more. I like them soft, comfy and not tight. Lightweight is best for Florida. The simplier the better. I have some wisted here with these my favorite in style. I tend to buy them in a medium to be more roomy. (Measurement specifics on wist description.)

-- Kitchenaid Mixer Cover Mine is the Classic (seen here) and I have a few examples of covers I like here.

--Cable Sweater Purse like here. I've seen these made from repurposed sweaters, lined and then turned into a purse. I'm such a big fan of cable knit I really love this style. (Could be a different color, or a different ribbon color; just an inspiration example.

NEW --Oven Mitts You know, good old fashioned "glove" type mitts but in cool fabrics. Brown/blue always a good combo, or pretty ones or fun ones - mine are all old and ugly so new ones would be great!

NEW -- Shower Curtain All the cool fabric ones I see in the store are way overpriced. Maybe someone got a great deal on fabric or something and could make me one. I use a liner so it doesn't have to be waterproof. I have a few examples here specifically shower curtains and some general fabric I like here

Knitting & Crochet
-- Hand knit socks. Something warm and soft I've got small feet so like a 6.5 size foot or girl's sized large socks for reference. There are some wisted here for inspiration. (And yes, thick ones for around the house are perfect too!)

-- A cable knit bag. I really like cable knit and I think this bag is really cool.

-- Knit or Crochet Wist Item - You can find crochet items here and knit items here.

Other
Grin Grin -- Chibi Marty or Doc BttF Plush. Probably bigger than a medium, but I want to list it anyway. Craftster member Noxika makes these awesome plush (like this and this) and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE one made of Marty McFly or Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Can't you just imagine how awesome a Marty with his orange "life vest" jacket or Doc with his wild hair in this style plush would be??

-- Grin Grin Fitted Style Decorated/Screnprinted/Stenciled/Embroidered T-Shirts. Short sleeve, 3/4 length or long sleeve. Fitted (not the "unisex" ones that are boxy) in V-neck, scoop or whatever (just nothing that's so low cut it requires another shirt underneath) in size small or US 4 equivalent. (I like the ones from Target a lot but am open to others too!) I have received a ton and I love them but I also live in fitted tees and more are always welcome. I have a bunch of styles I love WISTED for inspiration. Also, embroidery decorated shirts are cool too!! It's getting warm here in Florida - time for some new tees!!

--  Grin Grin Batik/Dyed / "Shibori-Dyed" Fitted Tee Shirts Like above, short sleeve, 3/4 or long sleeve is fine so long as it's fitted. I like styles like THESE in my wists. I especially love the flame style one but really like this type of look a lot. It''s different from the shirts I typically wear and I like that. (Please just no hippie/Grateful Dead rainbow style tie dye. Nothing against hippies but it's just not my personal preference.) It's getting warm here in Florida - time for some new tees!!

--  Ceramic/pottery tea mug, oversized mug, or cereal bowl or anything like that. Again, a skill I don't have but really love. (HERE are a couple things I've wisted for inspiration.)

--  Anything with a phoenix. I LOVE the phoenix and there's not nearly enough phoenix-related things in the world or my life. You can check out my wisted phoenix items as inspiration.

--Something Stained Glass I love stained glass. A little window decoration, a nightlight, a decorative piece - I think stained glass is so pretty. I have some pieces wisted here for inspiration.

NEW --Hoopla based on my likes (owls, trees, penguins, phoenix, Disney, daffodils, Back to the Future, bats, red foxes, etc., etc.)

-- Ceramic/Pottery Spoon Rest I have a few examples here but really anything earthy, or blues, or natural type glazes would be wonderful.

--Embroidered PhoenixFire Designs Logo Shirt If anyone has a computerized embroidery machine where you can take a digital image and put it on a shirt, I would LOVE to get a ladies fitted polo or cute, fitted V-neck tee with my PFD logo. That would rock. (Maybe on navy or grey or something that would make the color pop.)

NEW --Gil The Crab Art/Hoopla We have a Honda Element. And there were these awesomely funny commercials featuring a crab named Gil who wanted to pinch. (Youtube: I pinch!) We laugh about them still. So maybe art, or a hoop or something with Gil saying, "I pinch!" with the Element next to it like the commercial. It would just be really funny. (Our Element is this color if you want to make it match.) You could just screenshot the Element with Gil standing next to it with him saying, "I pinch!" or something. That would be awesome! Cheesy

-- Tree painting like this but I already have a Spring one - now I need Summer, Autumn, and Winter ones to make a seasonal set.

--Natural Preserves I'd like some kind of natural fruit preserve/jelly/jam/marmalade. Organic would be awesome. Definitely NOTHING with any artificial sweetener in it since I'm severely allergic. Cherry, grape, orange, apple, etc. - fruity goodness!

-- Red Fox Art I love this panting as an example. I'm just a fan of red foxes.

-- Daffodils - Spring always makes me think of my favorite flower, the daffodil. They don't grow here in Florida so I've got some wisted daffodil items here to help usher in Spring.

NEW --Daffodil Spoon Ring Yes, I already listed daffodils in general but I love this. I wear a size 6 on four fingers. I think this is just really cool.

NEW --Embroidered Shirt I really like this idea. Doesn't have to be exact but I think that's a great place to start. Fitted shirt only please, size small if Misses or medium if Jr's cut. Jewel tones, browns, greys, etc. Maybe flowers, trees, branches, etc.? Front back, both - I just like this idea a lot.

NEW --Small Cards I could use some small cards (very petite since I use very small 000 size envelopes which are 4x7 to ship!) to include with swaps and items I send out. The themes I like are above. I like writing out a little about the item when I send but the standard sizes don't fit in my envelopes!

--Embroidery Surprise I have a bunch of assorted items both stitched and embroidered here which can be used as an inspiration.

-- Surprise me! Look at my wists or my amazon wishlist, my etsy favorites, the colors I like, my favorite animals, or my favorite flower, etc. and see what you can make that you think I'd like!

Craft Supplies
--  Grin Grin Jewelry Presentation Displays I have one in black but I desperately need a necklace one in WHITE for photographing my work. I could also use a necklace/earring combo and a bracelet hand. Used ones in good shape are fine too! Any kind of leather/leatherette/vinyl is awesome. These are examples of styles I like and could REALLY use. (These are examples. If you find something similar at another shop that's perfectly fine!)
 - Fancier Necklace/Earrings: Display, necklace/earring, frosted acrylic
 - Another Fancier Necklace/Earrings: Display, Venus figure, opaque white, 12 x 8-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches
 - Ring/Bracelet Display, acrylic, clear frosted, 7-1/4 x 4-1/2 x 3 inch hand

-- Grin Grin Gemstone Beads I'd love to use more faceted, briolette, rondelles and other cut stones. Here are some I really am coveting.
(Listings shown are just for example of the stone. Can easily be smaller quantities for more reasonable cost!)
 - Any gems on my Etsy favorites - Bunches listed here
(examples... Chrome Diopside rondelles or....Songea Sapphire (yellows/orange in color) or... Tundra Sapphire (autumn colors) etc, etc, etc!!)

-- Mini Cake Pans. How cute are these? I don't know that I *need* them per se, but they're just so darn fun.

-- Lampwork beads. Love. Wish I could make but I''m too scared of open flame. Cheesy

-- Dichroic Glass Beads I love this mix for example. So pretty!

-- Sterling Silver or Gold Plate Jewelry Wire I always need jewelry wire. I need some super fine sterling and/or gold in about 28 gauge. I also love Artistic Wire brand in 24 gauge in silver, copper and brown.

-- Grin Grin Ninja Men Cookie Cutters. OMG, how freakin' awesome are these???

--Epson Inkjet Ink Yes, odd request but I'm always needing to print things for crafts and I never have ink! There's only so much I can print at work. Wink Epson Stylus Photo R340 uses T048120 black and T048920 color ink.

--Postcard Stamp I think this idea is super fun!

--Earring Findings I could use some fancier sterling and/or gold (plate/vermeil) ones, especially chandelier style like this or this or this or this or this, etc.

--Tackle Box(es)/Craft Storage Box I store my beads in them. Ones with dividers that can move and be resized are the best. I also like something like this or this that hold tools and other things in addition. I craft on my living room couch so I'm always taking things out and putting them away. It's a pain. Some sort of easily carted box would be very helpful. (Maybe something like this is available at a craft store with a 40/50% off coupon..? Oh, like this maybe?)

--Cricut Sure it's a silly wish but maybe someone has one they don't use anymore? That'd be cool!

-- Button Maker I think it'd be fun to make my own buttons. Some sort of starter kit would be great. I've never made any before. Can totally be used/pre-owned!

NEW --Shirt dye kit I love gradient dyed shirts and various types of tie dye but I've never done it myself. Maybe some sort of kit to try it? I found this one as an example, but I'm sure there's more out there. Something that has everything I need to try it would be great since I don't know where to start.

NEW  Grin Grin --Hanging Torso Mannequin like this so I could use it as a "model" when photographing my jewelry. I could REALLY use something like this!

Extras

-- Tea! Especially fruity ones. (Caffeinated ones are fine too for my morning cup at work!)
-- Chocolate! (white, milk or dark) No coconut please.
-- Candies! (whatever neat little treats you enjoy, send 'em my way. I love candy)
--  Grin Grin Pineapple anything so long as it does NOT have coconut in it. (Candy, snacks, candles, body spray, etc.) Finding pure, straight pineapple is so hard!
 -- Beading/Wire-Wrapping/Jewelry magazines (esp ones with projects/tutorials)

Thanks in advance to whomever picks me! Grin

I claim mama24boyz for Ravelry faves and supplies.

This is my 1st claim for this month. (mind you I claimed late in the month last month and still have 2 outstanding over there)

Hi my name is Nat, I live in Canberra, Australia. I have 2 little kiddies, Megan is 6 years old and Elliot will turn 2 next month.

I love to craft but my main passion is crochet novelties. Im the type of person who gets a kick out of making crochet sushi rolls and cherry pie potholders

I have also updated my wist and added a few more descriptive tags.

Crafts I would love

Anything from my wist http://wists.com/NatACT

Yarn Craft

I love yarn craft, as a crocheter myself I know the love and dedication that has to go into each piece. I would love a pair of mittens like these ones http://www.etsy.com/listing/65094154/mint-chocolate-chip-mittens-cashmere?ref=cat2_gallery_19

I know they arent technically knitted or crocheted rather they are recycled jumpers, but I love the style. I dont mind which colour but these are the colours that would match my work clothes black, deep purple or gray mittens.

Poly Clay Buttons or Shawl Pins.
I have added so so many of these beautiful buttons and pins to my wist list. http://www.wists.com/NatACT/polyclaybuttonspins

I have some favorites which include these buttons (how adorable are they) http://www.wists.com/NatACT/polyclaybuttonspins/6ff5a616ad05ca533f00ee16c8da3327?offset=0

And I love this shape for a shawl pin. I don't mind the colour so much but I would prefer darker colours or natural earth colours. http://www.wists.com/NatACT/polyclaybuttonspins/9c01e8556d3b7ab667c05b808a80d283?offset=0

Felt

I have so many felted food play items in my wist list my children would love them. Even though my daughter is getting older, she uses them to stock her shop which is her cubby house. She loves food play items and now that Elliot is getting old enough to play with her they would really be loved

Sewing

Elastic headband blanks I want to make some Yo Yo head bands for my daughter and nieces for Christmas but I cant sew to save myself. Black and White would be super awesome and in sizes you wish from newborn right through to 6 years.

I am going to be making some Pirate Themed items for my 2 year olds bedroom, but I am all but useless when it comes to the fancier sewn items, I would love if some one could make some appliques in a pirate theme for me to attach to pillow cases, or a bedspread or wall canvases. Here are a few that I found http://www.wists.com/NatACT/applique - they are really more cartoon pirate rather then scary or pirates of the Caribbean pirates. Perhaps even a treasure chest or some palm trees maybe even a few coconuts... As I haven't started yet the possibilities are endless, lol...

I would love (for myself which is rare) an oven mitt that looks like a crab/lobster claw, or an apron that looks like the body of a lobster. I spend most of my time in the Kitchen (when not at work) and I would get a huge kick out of these items.

My nephew would love a Jedi Cape, like the one worn by Yoda or the original Jedi robes from the movies. He is Star Wars crazy.

Anything Star Wars, for my nephew (8yo).

A reusable Littlest Pet Shop snack bag for my daughter.

Flowers like these, http://www.etsy.com/listing/60059450/cloud-crane-kanzashi-flower-bobby-pin?ref=cat1_gallery_19

Or, http://www.etsy.com/listing/62189518/art-deco-kimono-flower-kanzashi-style?ref=cat1_gallery_16

Or, http://www.etsy.com/listing/62091620/vintage-rose-japanese-tsumami-style?ref=cat1_gallery_15

I would use them to dress up some plain headbands or to make brooches or shawl pins out of

Fabric Painting/Art/Screening/Iron-ons I have a few items in my wist with the tag fabricpainting.

Drawings , Painting, charcoals or sketches.
I love Landscapes, Gardens, Japanese inspired themes.

Paper Crafts.
I would love some fanciful boxes to store ribbons or buttons in. Any style really as I will store them in my craft room. Any size, but the ribbon box should be tall enough to hold a standard spool of ribbon.

Supplies

I have updated my pattern 'needs' lol in my wist http://www.wists.com/NatACT/Books most are patterns from E-Patterncentral and are priced around the $2.40 - $9.95 mark. I want to make a tissue box sized Plastic Canvas village to go with my Lemax Christmas Village, but Australia is dragging its feet on the Plastic Canvas front and any patterns that can be found are shockingly expensive - truly shocking... and Plastic Canvas supplies are hard to find as well...

Plastic Canvas sheets the stiff kind, (A4 or 10.5 inches by 13.5 inches) Im making some crochet cakes and the plastic canvas is the base to build upon. Only problem is that plastic canvas is a hard find here in Aus.

Vannas Choice Yarn in Chocolate, beige or white Im in love with this yarn yes I know it acrylic but Im still in love lol.

Jumbo Rollagraph stamps, in particular I would love the Dolls faces, Birdies and Wordwords. But any of the Jumbo Rollagraph stamps would be great. I currently only own the Four Flowers Stamp.

Standard Rollagraph Handle if it is as great as the jumbo Im going to LOVE it...

Large Coconut Buttons or wooden buttons, suitable for bold cowls or scarves.

*** HUGE WANT*** Bernat Softee Chunky yarn I need 2 balls of Cream, and 1 each of Grass and Pale Antique Rose

Crochet Magazines such as Crochet Today or Interweave (I have a digital Subscription to Crochet World and Crochet Magazine since 2008) Back issues, second hand, even torn but repairable, found it at the bottom of a box at a Yard sale is fine. As a side note my grandmother has given me all her old mags from the 70s through to late 1990s so Im pretty covered for these eras (but if your after a pattern for crochet swim wear I have 100s lol)

Fun fabrics (FQs would be plenty) for me to make some Girlie Yo Yo headbands.

Sizzix or Cuttlebug dies would love some solid circles or scallops (pretty much any die that will fit in the Big Shot is fine) pre loved is fine Cheesy

Something to wrap my yarn around perhaps super size floss holders styled. I often crochet with 2 strands and rather than buying 2 balls I re roll about half the ball.

Interesting med or large buttons or beads to put into the center of crochet flowers or Yo Yo flowers. Basic, pastels or glittery colours would be super awesome.

Cats eye fluid chalk queue in misty meadow, Chocolate and Blueberries or Primary Elements, these are insanely expensive over here...

2/0/0

Hello all, I am Monica your org and love this swap so so much. I am a really strong lady who just is a bull by the horn girl. I am really blessed to have great friends here as my DH says My BFF in the box Smiley I have to say I am trying to convert my home to as much homemade craftiness as I can it makes me happy. I love so may things and my home is so fun and different in each room really. I am a surfer ocean girl. We live at the beach on the Crystal Coast the last bank of the famed Outer Banks of North Carolina. I love pink and girly but some edgy too. I am an ride it fast kind of girl. I drive my motorcycle year round. Have a beautiful Mustang and we are leasing ( who knew huh) a Horse. I love to ride and love the ocean. We are teaching the kids to ride and Atlanta to surf How fun. She is a beach bum really they both are. They love to fish and hunt ( shhhh she sits in the woods with me and looks at the animals) only time she shuts up LOL...

We have 2 beautiful grandkids that my DH and I are raising.
Atlanta is a fun 6 year old. Smart beyond her years when it comes to witty and artistic and then Houston ...He will be 3 on MAY 13th . He is a sweet boy who loves his "LOLLY" that's me..I am their Lolly. ( I am too young and fun to be called grandma). He is a special child that was blessed to have teach us so much compassion and love. He has Autism and cant for some odd reason deal with Kelly/Crayon green...not in M&M's or Lego's nothing at all....He hates to shop but loves to help carry in the bags and cries if he does not feel like he is being helpful  Cry I always have a bag to carry in. They both love to garden. He is so happy there and at the beach. The only places I think he is like everyone else and his brain is at peace Smiley

We have some Allergies in the house...Atlanta has a lung illness like asthma. She cant be around the sticky tar stuff from cigarettes. If you smoke inside pass on claiming us. If you smoke outdoors make sure to please wash your hands and supplies well to not have issues.

Atlanta is on a special diet now Sad she has tumors and cant have any candy or goodies so please dont send them to the kids..I can still have some Kender bars however I dont share them I hide and savor them Wink

I claim babalina58 for PaperLess Towels
1/0/0

Hi, my name is Erin. I am a stay at home grad student mom in the Seattle, WA area. I love to sew and I mainly sew PaperLess Towels or unpaper towels (feel free to add it to your list if you want them and I make them with and without snaps).  I am gluten and dairy free. Please do not send me any food with gluten or dairy in it. I love to cook and bake. I love the outdoors, nature, gardening and crafting. I pretend to knit sometimes and dabble with different crafts. I like nature inspired items. I don't like plastic stuff.
My favorite colors are green, blue, and red. Purple is okay, but please do not send me anything that pink is the central color, or pastels, or gold. I dont like flashy things. I love chartruese, I like dark lime green, eggplant, dark turquoise, any of those colors with brown is great. I love wall art and I love trees and rainbows together (or seperate is fine too)
My favorite scents are blueberry, food scents, lemongrass and pink sugar. I do not like patchoulli, musky scents, sandlewood,
I do not need do dads.
