Knittychick, I'm so thrilled that you love your package!  (I'm just sorry it took me so long to get it finished.)   Undecided  And Micah -- he is so, so, SO adorable!   The photo of him looking at the ABC book just melts my heart, and made my day!  Smiley

In full disclosure, I didn't invent the double bag (but thank you for your genius comments anyway!  LOL!)  Knittychick had one in her wist (you can see the original bag HERE), so I did my best to make one that I could manage within the same double-bag idea/theme.  The bags are fairly simple individually; I just made 2 identical (sized) bags, and added magnetic snaps and tabs to connect the two.  The trickiest part for me was the zipper, as I've never made a bag with a zipper gusset like that, and I didn't follow a pattern.  (I made the bag up as I went, thinking of a size that would be good for a diaper bag.)  I probably spent 4 hours alone trying to figure out the darn zippers and get them set just right!  haha!  So if you are good at zippers, this bag would be a cinch!

Thanks for posting the photo of the nomad swaddler... it looks so amazing, and I can't wait to use it!  Thanks for swapping with me, knittychick!  YOU are a wonderful partner, too!

Even without two babies, a double bag would be fabulous!  You can put your stuff in one and baby's in the other, and then if you're dropping the baby at a sitter's, or going out without him, you can take the appropriate stuff and leave the baby necessities with him.
